Float Position on G-550 Satoh

I have a Howard Tiller and a Brinly Disk that I use on a 550 Satoh. Both implement manuals say to use these in the Float position on the tractor. Is this the set by the up/down lever on the 3 point or is it the Lock/Tiller/Plow valve under the seat?

Since there's no down pressure from your 3 point hitch, float would be all the way down.
