Is there any reason I can't pull the rear wheels on my F24 and flip them to get a little wider track? The way the wheels are made, it looks like turning them "inside out" would widen their stance maybe 8 or 10 inches, which would be nice. Tractor is tipsy and the treads are constantly smacking the two lower arms on the 3-point setup.

Go for it...a lot of dealers keep them narrow for extra room on their lots...be careful if they are liquid filled...!

Check your manual. They may be different options for how you can space your wheels out. My Kubota has about 6 settings depending on how the dish was set as well as the bolt pattern. You also want to keep your tread facing the right way.

If they are R4s you may want to switch side to side so the pattern is correct.

Same thing with R-1 tires...R-4 and R-1 are both uni-directional.
R-3 turfs, no problem...just reverse (flip) 'em!

Don't worry even if you have Original Rice Patty Rears. My Ym2000 Original Rears have been reversed for over 8yrs. that I know of without a problem. May have been longer. That is just how long I've owned it and they were reversed when I bought it. The extra width surely makes a difference. Never heard of anyone putting them back after reversing them.

I did that on my little Iseki and it made quite a bit of improvement in stability. I want to say the hubs were tapered from both sides.

NOt an issue the left tire just becomes the right tire.
