If it has an oil bath air cleaner I would service it for sure- and check the intake tube for oil just in case

Did the engine go high RPM's before shutting down?? if so contact dealer to be safe...heard some tractor are equip w/auto shut off when tip over.

Even though you have yours up and running, for general info.
I think you said your tractor was a shuttle shift,
a gear tractor can have the engine turned over by putting it in high gear and rocking the rear tires.
My method to roll over an engine on a shop floor or level driveway is to pull back on the tire then push forward,
repeat and you should be seeing the engine slowly bumping over.
Or gentle pulling with another vehicle.
Alternatively getting a socket on the front pulley works.
With a diesel just make sure your fuel cutoff is off, gas engine be sure and disable the ignition.

That is what the seat safety switch does..... shut off the engine.

Disconnecting the battery should prevent that, right?

For a gas engine you should disconnect the coil wire.

The hand throttle was set to about 1400 rpms, no safety seat, so it ran for maybe 10 seconds before I shut it off.
