Can someone comment on this! I would like to raise the skids a little higher which there are holes to adjust both the skids and roller! Can i just adjust the skins a little higher and leave the roller as is? Image1495302255.840064.jpgImage1495302272.579974.jpg

Yes. The skids shouldn't contact the ground during mowing. They're just there to protect the mower chassis and the rotor/cutters during accidental contact and when parking the implement. Raise the skids up and keep the roller where it is. You set the cutting height with the roller adjustment. Nice Del Morino built TractorTools flail mower.

Thanks for the reply. I adjusted the skids up yesterday and it cuts/runs a lot better leaving no skid marks!

I actually do fine height adjustments by lengthening/shortening the top link. As stated I only rely on the skids to help the mower get over an obstacle.
