Flail mower identification

I’m not sure if there is a flail mower specific thread on this site but I picked this mower up this weekend and I’m wondering if anyone could help identify it. The previous owner didn’t know the make/model and I’ve yet to find anything helpful on it. It looks like it had some stickers at some point but they are worn off. The gear box needs new oil seals so I’m trying to figure out what I’d need for that.

That looks like a Mott mower

Thanks for the info, after doing a google search I’d have to agree. Is there anywhere on these mowers that might have a serial number or anything like that stamped on it?

Should be a plate, but if it is gone....
Shouldn't make any difference. Mott was purchased by Alamo Group, but here is an aftermarket that specializes in Mott:

I just reconditioned and sold a Mott flail that was identical to the one you have.
Very good mowers, built like a tank

I have an old IH. At least you can parts for yours (fortunately I only need to order a set of hammers and U bolts, should be able to use another brand).
