First tractor driving lesson

Today, I taught my 14 year old god-daughter how to drive my 2520! I am very proud. She did great.

Its a great idea to start them young in a lot of endeavors. I let my 8 year old granddaughter "drive" my 2320, but with me sitting in the seat. She is darn good at steering it into the barn or around several obstacles like her swing set. I never have the mower deck on when she is around though. We practice safety together in everything we do. Like using my power tools. She has her own ear and eye protection (in pink of course!) and I will build simple things like bird houses allowing her to operate certain tools that are age appropriate.

Teach them young, and teach them about safety. You would be surprised how much YOU will learn:thumbsup:
