First, A sincere thanks to those that helped resolve my registration issues for this site.

Now for the meat and potatoes:

Just purchased a B7610 with the LA352 loader and backhoe, r4tires, 50hr service for $20,100. (tractor and loader was 14,200).

Here is a picture of my first project.;) Never doubt the potential of these tractors.

I would think they would neeed a gas depot half way down that hole - so you can re-fill the tank on your way up/down!

Butte, Montana maybe?

Nope, not the Berkley pit in Butte. I believe that one is now flooded. I was born in MT and went there as a kid. It was a very impressive hole in the Earth.

The picture is actually the Finsch diamond mine in South Africa.:)

Harvster -

That pic caught me completely off-guard! What a hoot! You have made not only an excellent choice of CUT (OK - I'm biased!) - but you apparently have the required sense of humor common to tractor owners needed to laugh at oneself when you invariably dig yourself - and hopefully while on your CUT - into a rather deep hole someday (pun both- and un-intended...) :D

Enjoy your B7610 and welcome to TBN!

Good thing you went for the industrial tires. Did you have to refill the
fuel tank, or were you able to do all that in one go?

By the way, your right tire rear tire is low, your backhoe teeth need sharpening and somehow you've scratched the paint on the instrument panel between the Tach and the gas guage.

I used most of it for some fill. The front lawn had some rough spots that I needed to smooth out. I left some of the natural features in place so as not to give it that sub-division look.

A little dirt, some grass seed, and the right tractor can make all the difference.
