First Choice may have problems

About 06/28/02 I went to my local bush hog dealer & told him I wanted to purchase a First Choice orange 7' rear finish mower.

I gave him the phone # to call & asked him to see if he could get one for me. While sitting in the dealers office, First Choice told him he could ship one on 07/08/02. I ordered.
07/09/02 I emailed first choice to see how it was shipped. Answer was, it hadn't & would be another 10/14 days.
07/19/02 I called to check status. They only had one, but one wheel was missing. It was a special 13" air tire wheel.
But I ordered with solid tires. They said we don't have them either & it may be several weeks before the next container arrives.Makes it hard to keep smile on my face, especially when I am being made fun of at my dealer for choosing First Choice over Bush Hog.
PS, I am still using my 10 year old Bush Hog I bought from him, but it needs new wheels & I wanted to upgrade from 6' side discharge to 7' rear discharge.

I believe there was another post about FC and in it they said that some of their products were a little behind schedule as they had to straighten out some parts supply problems. I am going to order a FC Rotary Mower and am waiting for a call back from the company on Monday. Hang in there, I have heard they have good stuff and are worth the wait......

I just ordered a orange 6' FC on 7/20. Solid wheels and center roller forom Hoye in Villisca,IA for $1000, my pickup. He said he would have in 2 weeks--I'll let you know if he makes it.
