First attempt to post a picture

Well,

My new tractor is ready...just waiting for the cutter to arrive to schedule delivery. I know there will be the standard "Show us some pics", and "Where are the pics?" so I'll practice with this and see if I can manage !

I'm trying to resize, but I can't find the option on my viewer (Nikon-6). I searched the forum and found a thread about how to post a pic, downloaded the irfan thing and am trying to figure out how to open my picture using that program. So far, no luck.

How do you get it to the size I see most often on the forum (bigger) and how do you maintain the crispness?

I think it may be time to try out that EDIT button next time. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You need a program that will compress a .JPG file. You can compress quite a bit and still have it look the same on a PC screen. You will then be able to maintain a large sized image (in pixel W x H ) and upload for all to enjoy.

What I mean about the EDIT feature is, if your photo didn't upload, then edit your post and try again. There is no need to keep creating a new post.
