I planted a little over 5 acres total.
I didn't use much seed at all. I bought 50lbs of sorghum and 50lbs of sunflower and probably used 10lbs of sorghum and less than that of sunflower. I tried to put the sorghum at about 3" between plants and the sunflowers at about 4".
Looking at them coming up the sorghum seems like I got them spaced about like I was expecting, but the sunflowers seem to be way farther apart. Not sure if the sunflowers are just taking longer to come up or if something was messed up and they really did get spread out that far.
I'm hoping that with them spaced that far apart their is a better chance of them making it without much rain.
