My BX1830 is ordered so I have not seen the owners manual.
Can I do the first 50 hr. service myself with just this manual?
Thanks any comments /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Yes, you can, but later, perhaps soon, perhaps not for a long time, you'll probably realize that the Workshop Manual and the Illustrated Parts List are very handy to have; not necessary for the routine maintenance, but great if you have to do other repairs and/or modifications, additions, etc.

Plus, you'll be able to search and find all kinds of help here at TBN. And if you can't find it, alot of help will close at hand!!!

I'll throw in my nod too, sure you can do it. Have the tractor and manual in hand to scout the situation out, then post any questions here, tons of people will help. On my B1700 the only wrench I had that would fit the HST strainer was a 12 inch cresent (adjustable), as the nut is bigger than the biggest socket I had

After receiving my BX2230 last Friday, I already have almost 8 hours on it, so I'm starting to think about the 50 hr service as well. Where can I pick up the Workshop Manual and the Parts List you mention. At the Dealer? Also, what do they cost?

Thanks
