We have this model in our new house:

While not cheap we love ours and it really bridges the gap between fireplace and insert. With the glass door up it’s like having a fireplace and with the door closed it only uses outside air and puts out a lot of heat.

Nice design. A shallow firebox puts more heat into the room.
