Finishing mower

I bought a new L3010GST and now I'm looking for a new finishing mower, sold the old with the old Kubota. I had a 5' Landpride and its been great. The Kubota dealer has Farmking he's real big on. Has anyone had any experience with these mowers? Hate to put a piece of junk behind the new Kubota.

can not really give u an opnion on farmking, can tell u that i had 2 finish mowers, king kutter , which was fine but my curent mower is a BEFCO, and that thing is built like a tank. u may want to check them out.

I second Frank's recommendation on the BEFCO. I have the C50 RD6 72" Befco mower. They are well built and give a good cut.

In my best 1980's Sean Penn voice:
"Yeah... Man... She gives good cut."

My deck weighs just a tad under 700lbs.

I like my Farmking, it's a Y550 rear discharge. Year 2 and no problems.

Thanks for the information, I can buy the 6' for around $1200.00, which is about 500 less than a Landpride. The dealer I bought my old Landpride from is not selling them any longer, he says the gearboxes where junk.

I would suggest a Woods brand mower deck. They are hard to beat. I have used Woods mowers of various types for many years and they are very well built and give little trouble. A 6' rear dischrge could probably be had for $1700 or so.
