Just picked up a 5 foot finishing mower by bush hog. It is their bottom line implement but only used 2 seasons.... I paid $500 good price? What is a fence pole digger worth by bush hog used?

Paid nearly $1700 for a 5' Frontier almost three years ago. I use the crap out of it and spent 300 on repairs and maintenance since.

As a Bush Hog mower owner, was not aware they offer but one grade of finish mower. Rough cut yes but not finish mower. ZTR mower also yes. Well on ZTR now sure it is grades but class of mower, home use and commercial.

I purchased a 6 foot RFM about 7 or 8 years ago for about $1200 to $1500. Have used it a good bit and only repair cost has been blades and one oil seal in box. The seal probably was my fault due to over filling the gearbox and the vent hole not letting it out fast enough.

It's a good unit. I've used one.

Sounds like a good price, too. A friend has one in very good condition and wants $700 for it, but I believe he will settle for $600. I've seen them with asking prices over $1000 on the Internet.
