I have a B7100 (1995) I recently purchased. I am trying to decide which brand grooming mower to buy for it. I narrowed the feild down to two either a Befco C30 48" (3 blades) or a Lands Pride FDR1548 (2 blades) both are rear discharge. I am a first time tractor owner so any pro or cons about the models is appreciated.

Tiptop,

I have a BEFCO C50 RD6 72" finish mower. I am working on my 4th mowing season. The mower has been rock solid and leaves a very clean cut.

I've got the BEFCO C-30 60" unit (probably work quite well on your tractor).
Works good for me!

If you get a chance check out Woods rear mower, for there a good unit and fits the B7100 very well..cheaper than a Kubota rear mower.

Both the models you have selected are the "light" versions from the respective manufactures and should work well on your tractor. I would probably go with the 3 blade Befco. Both companies make good product. Comes down to personal choice.

I bought a 60" rear discharge First Choice mower from Sweet Implement in KY for my B7500. Design is very similar to Land Pride, but less $$$. Cuts much better than my lawn tractor did.
