I found an old setof blades for my finnish mower. They still have a bit of life in them. We kepts a spare set when we were doing commercial finish mowing and hogging. I thought about adding some wings on the back of the blades like a set of the old snapper add ons.

I was looking for some hi lift blades but couldnt find any the right sizes and spindle type.

As for the seeds in the compost the grass Ill mow will be mown often enough not to have seed in it. My weedy compost at one time was weed free as it was maintained at over 150 degrees. It picked up weeds from wind blown seed. The pile cooled down after they were in it.

I've been at a commercial composting firm, where they collect roadside grass, garden trash from commercial landscapers as well as private homeowners. they stuck 1 meter long thermometers into the compost heap to monitor the temperatures, they wanted above 65ｰ Celsius to kill the weed germs, but more than 80 was not allowed because of fire regulations.
This company makes composting allmost science

THe vac work I had a sweeper but it only works good on leaves. Plus mine is locking up traveling. Id like a vac and have the stuff to build one but a trailed one would be a bit long bplus alot of side load on my finish mower. Im thinking about building a frame to mount on top of my mower to hold my tank and a vac fan and motor.

Renze Compost facinates me we composted 1000 yards of saw dust at work a few years ago. we uesd a pile of weedy manure for nitrogen and turned it every week for 3 months with the D5. Im working on a deal for fish farm cleanings for 1500 yards of saw dust I have piled up on the farm.

I used to have an Agri-fab lawn sweeper. It sure beat using a rake; did a pretty good job though not quite as good as my current bagger on the ZTR.
