Oil & Fuel Faulty BX fuel gauge?

/ Faulty BX fuel gauge? #21
I called Kubota and they said that the float needs to come out and be repaired and that is what the warranty if for..... the dealer said that they were not that accurate, but it could be "adjusted" when it comes in for service..... I think that I will run it down till it reads empty and then measure how much I put into it.... if it is way off then I will have them repair it..... if it is only a problem when full and not reading full, they I can live with that. Just don't want to run out of fuel before it hits empty..... not a good thing.......

( That maybe correct. I think you will find that the BX22/BX2200 will use about a gallon of fuel an hour. The tank holds around five gallons. )

My BX2200 doesn't use nearly that much! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif More like 1/3 to 1/2 gal per hour, depending on the load.
