I have conflicting thoughts about this segment.

STRENGTHS:
- the situation made it to television... Gotta start somewhere!
- shows that people are pi**ed about NEZ
- shows that waranty/parts avail issues exists
- it will once again make a point to TFC: this is why deeper discounts are needed!

DEFICIENCIES:
- a toothless portrayal of a very serious situation
- improper portrayal of Farmtrac units: they are very good quality -- especially for the money...*far* from being "junk"!
- excessive attribution legislators/legislative process; many who have ways *not* to act on the situation to date... and so far is comparatively bogged down
- lack of "no comment" from the gutless, such as FNA execs, TFC

Speaking of timid, errrrr Politically Correct... the news clip didn't even give the Reciever's name. My editor would have my nuts if I didn't include JAMES C. MARROW's name plus age, and/or city of residence.

Reminded me of a statement my father once made:
"It's like soup maker calling it chicken soup... 'Well, the chicken WALKED through it.'"

And... nothing like slicing every second of Joel Thomas of Oakboro, N.C. from the segment -- another PC "vanillia-izing" move. Thomas is awesome! He has serious 'nads and unwavering confidence. I'm sure the news editor broke out in a sweat when he saw footage of Thomas telling it like it is!

[Please remember Beau Minnick is simply the messenger who compiles/assembles information the best way he could -- and did a respectable job. Minnick does not have editorial input or production authority. Others should be attributed to dilluting the piece and airtime delays.]

In the aftermath... Chalk it up as a minor victory -- and enough of a slight to stay hungry!

A situation where workers, customers and retailers have been bilked for MILLIONS is nothing less than national news. Don't settle for anything less -- persist!

Do you know how to make shark soup? Is it like chicken soup or more like soup? :)

RNFord,

If a few things go right, sharkie's machine will have put more than their little toes-ies in the soup -- chunks of dorsal fin will be included. In fact, many would be thrilled if it turned into more of a "Jaws" stew! : p

Who were the "partners" involved wih Farmtrac North America? Who was "backing" them if the company was broke? Why did they keep lending money to Farmtrac if the lenders were looking at the balance sheet? Was the parent company in India 100% owner or did they have partners here in America? What is "BEAVER CREEK HOLDINGS,LLC "and what relationship do they have with Farmtrac, NA?

OLE BLUE BETTER GET YOUR WIKIPIDIA:) OUT OF THE BOX!!!!!
SHARK SOAP====A soap opera is an ongoing, episodic work of 擢iction , usually broadcast on TV or Radio or internet. Programs described as soap operas have existed as an 兎ntertainment long enough for audiences to recognize them simply by the term soap. The name soap opera stems from the original dramatic Serials broadcast on the internet that had tractor manufacturers such as LongTrac, FarmTrac, and Textron as the show's sponsors????? These early internet serials were broadcast in weeknight slots when mostly tractor buyers would be available to listen; thus the shows were aimed at and consumed by a predominantly weekend farmer audience that believed all the information the LIE--fomercial oops!!! SOAP OPERA delivered--- less than zero financing, warranty for weeks oops!!! They thought that was years----didn稚 read the FINE print---- and parts to fix their tractors over their life time. (No one thought the meaning of life time was less than 6 weeks) Stay tune as the Beaver Creek turns!!!!!

RNFord,

Oh what a difference a vowel can make.
"As The Farmtrac Turns"... got it.

Wonder who WRAL's Tuesday PM blurb was sponsored by?

Wonder if we'll ever have a cameo appearance from the amazing vanishing CFO? [The one with 23 large lumps in his matress.]

TBr.,

In education, that's called "checking for accuracy" and "quality assurance" in the business world.

There's not a d**n thing the matter with checking.

"Measure twice, cut once."
