SESS,

Hmmm... Wonder how presently handling financing for Montana and formerly being part of FT play in? More specifically, if there's anything more than simply being a fellow with tractor-industry selling experience?

blueliner, it seems to me, kurt schenck would be in a better position to understand the problems the dealers face better than most, since he was working with long when escorts gained control from alverez.a reasonable man would have to conclude he is aware of how this mess was brought upon the dealers. how he handles that knowledge remains to be seen. for the time being, I am willing to listen to what he has to say. ------Taxpayer

Since you'll are talking about members of your family (Long, FarmTrac) Have you seen Roger Lately he is running McCormick is he not. Some may need to be on Birth control pills before all this plays out with all these common players!!!!

Did you mean Rodney? He is now CEO of McCormick. Ain't that a hoot? All his buddies Thurman Kirkland, Joe Rampley etc. seem to go from tractor company to tractor company to tractor company with him. Keep an eye out for Rodney.

It seems to me that Textron is assuming the responsibilities for running Farmtrac, ie; providing a company for warranty, and now a source for financing. Will they be held responsible now to honor the states buy back laws? Are any of these tractors selling? If so how?

Attention dealers and territory managers,

Your assistance is needed in gathering "tractor loading" info... If you'd share related statistics and information, I'd be grateful.

Please see attached form.

If it malfunctions, you may also get it from...

Thx,

Tommy,
Thanks. My amazement comes in how they seem to move from company to company together and why?

If you know him it takes the worry out of it.

I came across this quote from an unknown source thought it was appropriate.

The problems we face will not be solved by those that created them.

I would love to think this quote to be untrue. The loyalty they would gain could last generations. The long term gain could move them into a new level. If were all going to lose, I would think they would see a chance to do what is right and gain the lose back in the long term. Just think of the good press they would receive, headlines read..... A CORPORATION TAKES THE HIGH ROAD.... FOR THE LONG RUN.

Taxpayer -- Earlier in this string you asked about the distribution center in Collins, MS, did you ever get your answer?

An American Company Takes The High Road and looks to long term profits instead of short term stock prices????? What a new beginning!!!!

Wow-I am happy to see that someone is asking the questions that have plaqued our minds. Exactly how many tractors got dumped between November and Jan. I hope alot of dealers respond to this! It will only help us in the long run.

If thats what you call an update. Hey Kurt,, how about an update from Textron on a regular basis?
textron formed a customer advisory council in sept 5,2007 to get feed back from customers.my question is why the farmtrac dealers never heard of it? anyone interested in this council can google "textron financial customer council' it will be under newsroom.------taxpayer:confused:

That is the biggest joke I ever heard of!!!!!!!!! I ,too, wonder why the Farmtrac dealers never heard of it............guess at that time they thought they were fattening up the Farmtrac dealers for the kill as far as they were concerned.

sess,I see on the news, the wildfires burning down in central fla. hope you are not in danger. use blue tractors as a firebreak, they will never burn now that you're stuck with them.serously, we pray all our florida dealers & their families are safe.-----taxpayer

I just read that article about the customer advisory council and found this statement funny-"Textron Financial listens intently to each idea and opinion that is shared by the Customer Advisory Council", I guess this listening was prior to January 2008!
Thanks Taxpayer for the concern over the fires. We are a couple hundred miles from where they are right now, but its too close for comfort. We are watching them closely because more keep popping up every day! We need LOTS of rain right now but none is in site!
Did all the dealers get their weekly email from Farmtrac: "No change". SESS
