Farmtrac 675 PTO

Any owners of the 675 out there. When I got mine a couple years back, I did something I never do and that was to read the manual. Manual says to have pto handle engaged when not using pto implements. I have been running mine engaged on pto on/off lever with the selector in neutral position. Anbody know if this is right or wrong? What are you doing?

The pto clutch lever should be in the down position. You should only pull/raise that lever when the pto is being put in gear. If you run the tractor with the pto lever raised it will wear the pto clutch out. Hope you haven't worn it out or glazed it.
