Mowing FarmPro Finish Mower Question

Does anyone have a FarmPro 6 foot rear discharge finish mower? They look like a nice mower in the pictures on the web-site but I have not seen one in person. Does FarmPro build these or does someone else manufacture them? They look exactly like a Sitrex, but I'm not sure if they are built by Sitrex or if they are a copy. Any information on the quality or manufacturer of these mowers would be a big help. Thanks.

This may have changed since I last saw one, but at that time the finish mowers were of Chinese origin. Can't say whether or not they've improved since then, but the biggest problem was with the rubber; shredded belts and flat tires.

I do not know for a fact, but am 99% sure they are of Chinese origin. My experience with the Chinese Farm Pro implements ( Ihave sold dozens) is they have noisy gear boxes. Other than that they work pretty well and offer very good pricing. but they do make noise. I think the gears are forged but not machined much. We have had a couple gearbox failures (infant mortatlity) warranty took care of them.

Chip have you ever drained the OE fluid out of one of those trannys, and replaced it with straight 140W? Might be a solution to the noise issue, if you can find any 140W that's non-foaming.
