I have a Super A, my brother has 2 Super H and a BF Oliver.

I struggled with the exact same issue with my A for 2 years. This fall my brother put a kit in the carb for me and the thing works like new machine. I took it for a long drive on the country roads at full throttle in high gear up and down the hills. It purred like a kitten. I am very pleased.

I had similar issues with a John Deere Model "M". Going with better spark plug wires helped a lot.

SHUT GAS OFF.TAKE GAS LINE OFF AT CARB. OPEN GAS VALVE , YOU SHOULD HAVE A GOOD STEADY GAS FLOW.IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GOOD OR NO GAS FLOW, TAKE OFF THE GAS CAP AS ITS VENT HOLE IS PROBABLY PLUGGED, REPLACE CAP WITH A NEW ONE. GOOD LUCK HARRY
