Hello all,I am kinda new at having a Chinese tractor so i am sorry if this is a stupid question.I just purchased a farm pro 2425 from an individual that also knew nothing about it.I have been reading the manual because i am going to change the fluids in it since there is 110 hours on it and nothing has been changed.I was looking for all the places to check fluid levels and turned something i probably shouldn't have.Right between your leg's as your sitting in the seat straight down there is a black knob i thought may be a dip stick but it wouldn't come out.Could someone please tell me what this is and what i should do since i turned it and don't know where it was?

This knob controls a valve that restricts the flow out of the 3 point lift cylinder. If your 3 point lift will not go down (with a little weight as it is gavity down only), than the know needs to be opened (CCW) if the 3 point drops too fast when lowering, adjust the knob (CW). There is a small set screw that is supposed to keep the valve from going too far, and in some cases it will act as a set screw and hold the valve in place...

Hello ymurf,

Check this site The Jinma 100 Hr. Service for a good writeup on how to change the fluids in the 200 series Jinmas. Some things might be different from your machine, but overall you will find this very useful.

Have fun!
