Anything changing on this unit? I started looking in the spring before we knew exactly where we were moving....now that time has come (settlement next week) and I will be ready to buy the 24 in the next 30-60 days. Just wondering if there is anything I should be aware of deal wise. I have noted a bunch of issues that have popped up on these tractors, although it appears they are being dealt with.

Any advice before we get ready to pull the trigger? Wanting the BX24 w 54" MMM.

DON"T WAIT! If your going to finance the end of 0/36 will probably be the end of Sept. The programs are only going to get worse from here. It could continue, but we where told that we would not have it last quater so I can't see it lasting much longer.

Unless I misunderstood, there were quality issues with the entry / footing area, some being delivered with low oil levels, loose seat bolts, problem greasing certain fittings, etc....minor stuff.

why not finance? 0/36. make payments out of an interest bearing account. i actually went for short term CD's. great rate.

ps. only works if your homowners covers the insurance of the machine. loan requires ins. mine did.

Bob is correct on the insurance........go with the Kubota liability policy. When we financed our BX 1830 two years ago at 0/36, my Farmer's agent wanted $400+ for one year, that was ridiculous so we went with Kubota's. But put your money in a CD or a rainy day fund and take advantage of the Kubota 0/36 plan, it's hard to beat and unlike automobile financing the price isn't jacked up to pay for the package. I'm not a dealer, just a happy owner.

Paypal is what I use. You just transfer money right from your bank account and it currently pays 5.04%. Transfer in and out as often as you want without penalty or fees. No minimum time required. It does take 3-5 days for money to show up back in your bank account when you transfer it back, but it has been a great deal for us.
