Failed concrete question

   / Failed concrete question #41
I would be good with something like that or what was mentioned previously, I just don’t know if it would hold up. I’m assuming the top would have to be ground off assuming the rest of it good.

Self-Leveling compound is good but I am sire the floor would have to be clean and acid cleaned for it to stick. They sell lots of it at Lowes and HD. I know people put in in homes when floors are trashed or unlevel for various reasons. Not sure how durable it is to heavy equipment rolling over it. I would not hesitate pouring it on the really bad spot for starters. I am sure your cement contractor knows for sure, but maybe not.

If you take anymore pictures I suggest side lighting to create shadows which can bring out depth. Also, throw a common item in the frame for sense of scale of what we are looking at. LIke a quarter, dollar bill, ruler etc etc. I couldn't tell much from the pictures and didn't look real bad for a shop floor but I prefer a rough finish on a shop floor. My dad had a concrete foundation business in my early teens but he hated doing floors and subbed them out to his brother who was really good with floors but was also fond of the tavern at 11am.
