Both, I've been using exmark 60"/72" for 20 yrs I pretty much understand limitations wet/dry. As you can see those areas I cut aren't intended for wet only dry cutting. I do have bar tires on the 60" which give more sideways/up/down traction but still only 2 drive wheels. I have been learning about adj deck height on hills cuts which I now clear the dirt. Each of those drop are at least 4ft down.

Took a few #’s on bank today after sliding off it numerous times mowing sideways with Zero.

Grass was dry but soil was damp.

Averaged 27-32* in most places.

40* + in short areas of gulleys where water washes down.

It’s spooky crossing it

I’d guess it’s 20-25ft tall & 45-50ft up this bank.

I can carefully mow it with ZD1511 horizontally IF soil is bone dry but it’s sketchy even with fluid filled tires.

The Front Deck F3710 with rear steer having tail swing would not stay strait at all mowing horizontally
So I found it a new home.

I was able to get the speed adj set and the machine works as designed. Gotta say I am impressed with some of the hill/slope capabilities cutting I do which is why I wanted to try a front mower. I no longer need the 3 point finish deck for those hill/slope cutting and a bonus less weed whacking.

Now, I have noticed some oil drops which have gone from a drop or 2 to several. There aren't any obvious simple sources of that oil, any thoughts?

Clean and de-grease the the are around and above the oily spots in the photos, hopefully you can spot the leak area.

Link below shows my experience with hydro oil leak.

Not suggesting you have the same problem, just pointing out how important it is the clean the area thoroughly the best you can.
