Extended Warranties

/ Extended Warranties #11
I quit buying extended warranties back in the 80's and am money ahead by a significant amount.

Thank you for the positive post on KTAC (Kubota Insurance)! What makes KTAC different than other insurance providers is the fact we care if you go back and buy Kubota. If Kubota doesn't sell equipment, we have nothing to finance or insure so we tend to hear "you'll cover that?" more than others. Basically, KCC and KTAC wouldn't need a Director of Operations and that would not be good for my family.

Insurance is the same gamble as an extended warranty basically. The key difference is I can afford a couple grand (painful, but doable) if something breaks that would be warrantied, but I CAN'T afford to replace the whole tractor if something major happens to it like burning to the ground or getting stolen.
