Excavator Thumb Issues

I have a Takeuchi TB 250 with Black Max thumb kit on it. I have issues with the thumb ram closing by itself. I discovered the ram is slightly bent and I think that may be the reason why?. I am not a tractor mechanic and dont know much how these systems work. I am trying to locate a dealer and being a cheap Chinese product there is little information on parts. I was going to take it to the dealer in Sacramento but before I do so I am searching to find more information. I am going to call the dealer in Washington and see if they have any source for parts as I cant find anything and may just have to buy a new complete assembly. Thanks Robb
