I got a 54", single lid wicked root grapple four months ago. It weighs only 350 lbs, which leaves a lot of payload for my DL135 loader. I was wondering if it would be too light duty for my size tractor, but after seeing Ted assaulting a tree with one in a video, I ordered it. I run it hard. It just plain works. Attached was one of today's tasks - about 1800 lbs of western bigleaf maple. I just drove up, clamped the jaw, lift, drive off. Fantastic product.

I just got off the phone with these guys. I was concerned that shipping will be too much since it is some heavy equipment and I am outside the 1000 mile radius in Texas. They said shipping was going to be 10 bucks. I could not believe it. I will definitely place my order now.

The wicked root grapple says for tractors up to 75 HP. I'm looking for a grapple for a Kioti 7320. about 8,000-9,000 lbs of tractor with breakout for over 5,000 and lift of 3,200 lbs. Would you recommend going to a different grapple?

Our new 55" or73" Wicked Grapple for Utility Tractors would be a perfect match for your tractor!
Until now, the recommended grapples for your tractor were all heavier and just not ideal.

Awesome pic! That is a serious log, but it looks like the 54" Wicked Grapple is handling it well.

I broke a tine and may have bent my box blade leading edge yesterday. I was dissapointed you guys only rate that one for 75 horses now. Wish i knew that when I bought it a year ago. Makes me question future purchases.

I have broke tine pic, not sure if i have one of bent blade. Good news is welds seem ok, broke tine not holder. I yanked all day on it with my 85 horse deere, so ppl buying it for 75 or less it will be bullet proof. This massey will destroy it though besides light work or grading in clean dirt. I have the 96 inch xtreme duty v2 i believe, which is now rated 75 hp and i can attest to that. :confused3:

Not sure what you need to see, but shank gone and might have bent front blade. Have to look at it later. My fault, too much tractor for implement. Must have snagged a stump and it didnt slow the massey down one bit.

You guys want me to test the new 125 hp one let me know. :thumbsup: I have already bought 2 boxblades from you, glad you got the hp ratings correct now atleast.

Id like to clarify something. The box blade pictured has snagged prob 200 stumps grading 50 acres behind a deere 5085e cab with loader. 12000 lbs. the deere never phased it. This was grading in mfwd. Rest assured gents that this boxblade is bullet proof with the correct setup. I wasnt using tines, i had box blade tilted back in final level mode. ( long top link) it would glide over most stumps which are at grade. I still hooked plenty though. I sold deere, got 105 hp massey with loader etc and found the limits i think. My only beef with eta is if i had know this blade was rated 75, i would have bought the 125 and im almost willing to bet the 125 can handle anything a 105 horse can throw at it. I am willing to bet if you have a 75 horse or smaller you cant hurt this thing.

Eta makes great stuff, just make sure you get the size you need.

Maybe ill get the 125 next year and do a little you tube testing.

Thanks. This is the key. The duty rating for attachments is not only relevant to tractor size and HP; the application must be taken into consideration.

The structure of the box blade is extremely strong, but even the best bolt on components(cutting edges/shanks) that can be obtained "off the shelf" from a supplier are only strong enough to withstand so much, even if they are high quality and sourced from a US manufacturer like ours are.

Maybe ill get the 125 next year and do a little you tube testing.

The 125 HP Rated Large Shank box blade sounds like a great match for your application.
When designing these box blades, we were unable to source an "off the shelf" ripper shank capable of taking the punishment that a heavy tractor doing serious grading can dish out, so we currently manufacture our own special shanks for this box blade. The optional 8" Viper cutting edges are heat treated to give up to four times the wear of carbon steel blades. They are also through-hardened, not simply flame or case hardened, to achieve longer wear and far greater strength.

When you pair our special shanks with the optional Viper cutting edges and a lockable floating tailgate, the result is an elite box blade with no competition!

Our Wicked Grapple for Utility Tractors would be a good match in my opinion. Your tractor is technically above the recommended HP rating, but, in this case, the tractor's HP doesn't reflect lift capacity.
We offer the grapple in 55 and 73" widths, so either will be fine.
I think the ~600 pound weight of the grapple would be ideal. We'll be adding the heavier ~800 pound grapple soon, but that's overkill IMO.

Get one with a Quick Attach and hydraulics for a grapple already installed. :thumbsup:

My pleasure. Like Xfax said, quick attach is the main feature to have on a new or used tractor. 3rd function hydraulic outlets is a plus, but if not, we probably have a kit to take care of that.
