Just as you've already been told, you are stating false information...not only on resale value, but on everything. We don't just contract with the factory to have them sprayed green. That's an incredibly intentionally misleading statement, either that or you are very ignorant of the process. In either case, you are wrong...and so far off the mark so far it's not even worth detailing things out for you. I posted a link in this thread to one on our forum that details some of it.

The funny thing is that you are likely repeating information you've been told second, third, fourth, or fifth hand, and have no knowledge of our company and with who or how we work.

You posted a link to YOUR forum, where you have TOTAL control over the material posted, just as on WW, and to a certain extent here. And BTW, you have absolutely NO idea where I get my information.

Trying to silence your detractors appears to be "Everlast's" stock in trade .. A quality that prospective buyers should look at with great interest.

There's only a handful of people that know this information, including me and involved with this and I know you did not get it from them, so it is second hand at best...and patently wrong.
And to say we control anything here is another misleading statement. We don't. If we did why are you still here? lol. Whether we have control of information or not has nothing to do with the link posted and the content. We do very little censoring there, and you can ask anyone there about it. We don't hide our technical issues as it aids other customers who might be experiencing the same thing. You should define detractors. You mean people who post misleading information, lie, berate, try to blackmail or insult? You betcha.

Thomas, trying hard not to be considered an advertiser.....if you would point out what I have written that you think is advertising....please point it out, I will review it and edit. Uh huh. Come on Jim, this is not that hard or nuanced. *If* you were to stick to educating about technology, how to maximize the quality of cuts, etc., that would be one thing. You do sometimes post about these things, but you also post regularly about how your company does things better, faster, bigger, etc. That is advertising.

I will quote just one statement that you made that falls into the advertising category "All plasma cutters are not created equal....if you think an $800 (brand new) import will do everything as well as a $2000 major brand......trust me, the more expensive unit will have a multitude of advantages. The similarity is that they can both cut metal, and if that is good enough...then buy the lowest cost unit you can find!"

Please don't insult me by telling me that this isn't advertising...

I am surprised that this inflammatory post wasn't deleted by TBN admin. I have had a post of mine deleted that was far less inflammatory.

I am old enough to remember when "made in Japan" was synonymous with "junk". Chinese products used to be that way as well. That doesn't mean they don't still make some junk, but so does Japan and so does the US. The Chinese are learning rapidly just as the Japanese did. I personally find the Everlast products I have purchased to be of good quality and a very good value. If you are disturbed by increasing competition from foreign labor pools, that is something that you should take up with your elected representatives as it is the removal of trade restrictions that are largely responsible. Emotional appeals to "buy American" will not change anything in my opinion. I would love to see everyone in the US employed at good paying jobs and the US the manufacturing juggernaut it used to be. It just isn't that way anymore except in certain areas.
