Hard to argue with keeping the 755. For whatever reason, JD just plain 'got it right' with the 55 series tractors........ reliability, looks, etc. I've got to admit, I have a 55 fetish. Who knows, I may still own one some day.
I've toyed with the idea of parting with my JD 4300, but cannot do it. Does everything that I ask of it, and more.
Same with my 455 and 425.
Great to be happy with what one has in the barn.![]()
I went over to pick up my 755 yesterday and they had it sitting out for me when I got there. There was a guy there looking at it thinking it was for sale. I told him he would have to pry it from my dead fingers. He said his neighbor has one that he will not part with either and that is what he is wanting. I told him where I knew of one that was for sale but mine was not. I got it home yesterday and used it for a couple of odd jobs around here, sure felt good to have it back. Wife and kids we might be able to work out a deal on. Dog and tractors don't ask. LOL.
