I had this for a week at age 40. Doc gave me antibiotics and maybe some steroids too. It went away.
Prayers for you to get better.

I wish that was all it took for this to go away. I had to have a "Profusion" which is a shot thru the eardrum into the middle ear. The middle ear is filled with a numbing agent that is supposed to seep thru the 'drum' and into my inner ear. Once in that part of the ear it will permanently numb the nerves going from the inner ear to the brain. You should see some of the exercises I'm supposed to do for therapy. I could have up to three of these Profusions to solve the problem.
