Evacuator Valved Crumbled

You know, the little bird-beak on the air cleaner housing you pinch to let dust and grit out.

Well, my BX2660 is about one year old and has 140 hours on it. The other day I am doing the pre-flight check and give it a pinch, and it crumbles in my fingers!

Anybody else experience this?

Had the same on mine. It was a grey colored one. Changed it for a new one, plastic has black color and seems better.

Yes, mine is gray also, I'll see about getting the new style.
