Hi All,
I just read that before Pruitt left office with the EPA, diesel emissions changes were approved. It seemed that the group who lobbied for these changes is known as "Glider Trucks". Was curious if anyone knew if these changes would have any affect on future tractor engines ?

Anyone else hear about this and will it affect tractor engines ??

I doubt anything will come of it. Without getting too far down the rabbit hole, next administration will probably reverse all of this again. I doubt anything will come of this in agricultural equipment.

Do not believe any tractor manufacturers are currently producing " glider tractors". The concept does not really exist in off road equipment.

I was aware that reconsideration of the previous administration regs was under review. Would like to see confirmation of new policy. There are a significant # of skilled jobs at stake if the glider program were to be orphaned as was the plan prior to A change in administrators.

DO NOT click on tractor link, it is malware. Would need to misspell t r a c t o r, to defeat the link. Some links are an issue in TBN system.
