Engine Make for '07 T7030?

I am wondering what make of engine is in my 2007 T7030 NH, Its been bugging me all week, is it a CNH inhouse engine or is it a cummins? I know its a 165HP engine, but thats all i can find on it, NH's website is useless for engine details.

Is there a tag on your engine? I wonder if that uses the Iveco? That's what I'd bet on.

I didn't seen one when I looked, it wouldn't be ontop of the block would it?

I have seen tags on the valve cover before, not a good place in my mind. It may be painted over. Have you checked with your dealer? I'm sure someone here will know though.

I have heard that the Cummins 6.7 engine and the 6.7 engines in New Holland & CaseIH tractors share similar architecture but are not completely the same engine.

Yes, I was correct. (I decided to look it up.) The European Engine Alliance was started by Iveco, Cummins, and New Holland in 1996. It was disbanded in July, 2008 when Fiat purchased Cummins' 1/3 share in the joint venture and Cummins agreed to buy Fiat's 50% share in the North Carolina CDC plant (originally formed by Case Corp. and Cummins in 1980).

I guess since your engine was built in 2007, you can call it whatever suits you best.

A lot of medium size Iveco trucks (180 to 250 hp, 7.5 to 18 ton) have an Iveco badged Cummins 6BT or QSB 5.9

At one time, they sold a few, but they didn't seem to go over here too well. There is no distribution in the US at this time.

Ya it does say Made in Uk on spots......but then again, almost every part that says where its made is made in a different country. They should of said Assembled in UK
