Same here .. (Vista, Opera, gmail) .. dunno which causes the issue, pretty sure it's browser not working well with mail client or settings not with TBN. (I'd rather use Opera to log in than FF w/ABP ...)

Computers/software are transitory and nothing special. I have no other problems ever with TBN .. other than shortage of time to enjoy it more.

Opera, not chrome. No Chrome for this 32 bit Vista Home Basic Sp 2 OS. (Dell Lattitude D830) I thought it was only me who couldn't see my avatar.

I like several Linux versions but browser upgrades aren't always Win-easy even with apt-get/pkgs.

IIRC I have Chrome on a Win 7 laptop or two. Exporting bookmarks isn't always seamless for me, so I still use this and an ancient Dell (sgl core 1.5 GHz) with W2K that't outshines my (ugh) XP laptop and towers. (Quad-core dual boots to Mint 17 .. :thumbsup

I'll see what I can patch up on another 'box', hope to ditch this Vista clunker and go back to towers for the front office.

Uh, turns out that I couldn't upload a .3mb pic from URL but could easily do so from a desktop file, so I was able to fix the avatar on my home page.

btw, and sorry to digress, but the Palmgren rotab on the right of the mill's table also has X & Y feeds on it, so it's redundant on such a mill, but could be very handy in learned hands for quickly centering work to drill circular patterns on a drill press.

Now back to 'My Home' to what threads we've missed since this morning. :laughing:

Depends if you'd rather eat it or smoke it. For the past year my email notices have been hit and miss, sometimes I get them and most times I dont, makes it hard to remember who I'm arguing with.

Still not receiving any TBN notices on my email. It's not a 'biggie', but it is something that isn't working that used to.

Well I get notices of posted follow ups to subscribed threads but never get PM's.
