Hey, I just got notice in form of an email on this thread. The first one !!!

Gee, life must be tough for all you guys not having perfect toast, may the New Year be better for you. BTW my wife uses a toaster oven to cook toast and biscuits and they come out perfect every time

When it comes to maple syrup it seems that both Vermont and Quebec claim the title. LOL.
But then many Vermonters have french Canadian family names so maybe it is an inherited thing.

Nothing better than maple syrup poured over fresh strawberry waffles with a dab or 2 of sour cream!

Sorry Oldpath, only VT maple syrup is the real deal. :licking: Everything else is knock off, but we'll give ME a pass, just this once, 'cause it's the holidays...

Good thing I went back a few pages so i could correct all the errors here about maple syrup. I ask a lot of maniacs including myself which syrup is the best and the consensus is that Me. makes the a better syrup. Scientist believe it's because Me. is closer to the ocean and all that air coming off the ocean adds flavor to the maple syrup, now cant disagree with a scientific fact.
