$ 400.00 for a Chinese made toaster, are you nuts! I like the stile but this has greedy capitalism written all over it. For $400.00, now I like it when somebody make's a good living but $400.00 on a toaster, I could buy a chainsaw for that.

I either been put on everyones ignore list, which I don't mine, or the Email notices have stop, again

You're not on my ignore list - in fact no one is, yet! (That covers the email portion of this post).
You can't get toast from a chainsaw, no matter how much it costs. And candy apple red, that's 'gotta be worth something extra, no?!
I just LOVE the toaster portion of threads like this one....:dance1:

Ayup - email notifications have stopped here also!

Regarding toasters, we have an older Hamilton Beach 4-slice toaster that has
served us well so far. It has bagel, and defrost settings also.:cool2:

On the contrary, you could toast bread on the muffler of a chainsaw after its been working for a while (not sure that you would WANT to, but there should be enough heat there to roast a piece of bread.

Oh that's good I haven't offended you, yes I love that color red for a toaster, and the style is great, so if it make's good toast, I'd give a $75.00, but is if you made that toaster it in this country, I'd pay $175.00 all day long, that make's me your No.1 customer, your welcome.

Yep, got to work my saw awhile before toasting, if not, would have that nice fresh gasoline flavor if I cooked it on my hard starting 550XP, half the time when I first start it and it don't fire by the 4th pull, I look and gas is running out of the muffler, the other half the time 2-3 pulls and away it goes, but after 5 min. the gas is burnt out of the muffler and is/should be ok for the first toast, I like to be neighborly so you can have that one, I'll take the sec. one.

And here it's 220, 230, 240...

As aczlan says, "depends on how far you are from a transformer".

Agreed. Bin rural areas with long runs and low loads can be 130v!

So, it being the day after Christmas in the US (Boxing Day for others, as it's called here too)((even though it's now Sunday where I'm at)) did anyone score a great, whiz-bang, toaster?

... and emails are still non-existent.

I'm back to no email notice, and seeing a bunch, 3, in the last day, spam messages about the Redskins and some other team live streaming?! Reported 2 of the 3, not opening any more suspicious threads.
And I noticed some threads are reading no views but numerous replies?
Somebody 'musta plugged in one of those 221 toasters!

No emails doesn't affect me, I changed my settings to control panel only. Now I click "My Home" to see new posts on subscribed threads.

I'm just adding a reference to the lack/status of emails IOT keep my postings relevant to the thread's OP.

This is pretty much a TOASTER thread now.

Speaking of toast, I just read an article on pre-made cinnamon toast. Apparently it's a delicacy in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

For some reason I cannot log into TBN most days and then only have access for a couple of minutes before the screen locks up. I can't be the only one with this issue. So I may not see any posts for days or longer. Beats me.

In the interim I have been searching toaster info on the net and have an observation to note. It's not scientific but I have found that the highest rated and most recommended toasters appear to be the lower ones in price. I would say the cheapest were rated the best and the higher the price the lower the recommendation and rating. Just a casual observation and there were exceptions.

For now, we're still using our pretty expensive ($50) toaster that doesn't work well. We have a toaster oven that works great on toast--duh--but my wife won't let me use it after an unfortunate incident. Well, technically I can use it but under severe technical restrictions including following directions.

Anyway, what this country needs is a quality $50 toaster that's in the mainstream of purchasing options

Anyway, what this country needs is a quality lower priced toaster that's in the mainstream of purchasing options like a Costco or Sam's Club. Heck, I had one of those red hot, live wire toasters in the 1960's that did a great job. Dangerous, but it worked.

And if I'm elected president, everyone will be able to get a non-political correct toaster. I'll have the toaster factory built here in the USA and make China pay for it.

Right now I'm keeping my eye on this Kitchen-aid Pro Slice toaster it's gone down $20.00 all ready, when it get's down to $50.00 I'll buy it, might happen before the email response is fixed...........

My wife makes that, it's a delicacy here too. For morning breakfast, she slices the bread up, dip's it in eggs, then it turns into non imported French toast, then topped off with non imported real maple syrup, yummy help's me feel better during this difficult time of no email re-plys.
