Oh, email notifications mean a LOT! Now that we're not getting them, they're sorely missed.
So, what's the toaster situation in Nebraska? What with all the wheat you're involved in producing, bread & toast must be an important part of your day.
Toaster situation is good here in Ne, I am still enjoying no email notifications.
This one seems to have good reviews: Amazon.com: Conair Cuisinart CPT-122 2-Slice Compact Plastic Toaster (White): Kitchen & DiningWell, I stopped email notification but am still getting them. Must be me. How's that for Karma?
On the other hand, the toaster still sucks and I remain in search of a two slice toaster that will heat quick and deliver toasted bread within an acceptable range. Could use some commentary before, say, late Thursday.
Not really. Keep the box when you open it, click the "its junk, return it" link on Amazon, put it back in the box, drop it in the outgoing UPS stack at work and off it goes. The trouble with buying on Amazon, it's harder to take it back when the toaster breaks after the first use, Walmart, Kohl's etc. I can just throw the POS back in the box and with the receipt that shows the $5.00 extended no BS return warrantee, go back to Walmart and get another. When I buy a toaster, I take a loaf of bread with me and plug a toaster in and see which one will toast the best, then buy that one......................

Depends. If its sold by Amazon and you have Prime, they pay for return shipping. If you don't have Prime its $5-8 depending on the package.First I have to say WOW!, I just noticed over 12,000 post since 08, to me that's in the WOW! range, take me 10 year's talking about bad toasters to catch up with that....
Doesn't return shipping have to be prepaid on a junk toaster?, when I looked into returning boots that was a little to small, to (Work Boots USA) they want $25.00 return shipping fee, fortunately my son like the boots so he bought them, then I ordered another pair, size bigger.

Admin? Nope, just a Moderator who helps remind people that they need to follow the rules (such as being polite to each other even if you disagree with the other person).OldPath05, Don't be taken in by the number of posts, Pssst: he's one of the Admin guys, 'posing' as a regular guy, (just kidding about the posing part).![]()
Foot the bill? They do nothing of the sort, I put the outgoing package with a pre-paid UPS label from Amazon on the box and set it where the UPS guy will get it when he comes to deliver packages each day. No expense to my employer and not really any different than dropping it off at any other UPS pickup location.Guess you've got to find a different place to buy your stuff from, unless of course you can get your workplace to foot the bill, ahhh get it, foot the bill!?
Yes, if you do a lot of business with them Prime makes sense, or in your case you get 'free' return shipping at work; BTW, where is that again?![]()

I pay Amazon to be a Prime member and they pay for my return shipping. Not sure how Amazon makes any money off of me, but thats their problem, not mine.

Pretty sure Walmart would take it back (if you were the kind of scammer who would do that)...I'm pretty sure you can't do that with toast that's not to your liking, even if it did come from a bread box.
