With more and more electrical utility vehicles and carts there is bound to be some accidents...The sad story about the dog got me thinking about this...

Many electric carts etc. use a pedal activated engagement and most of the time there is no need to constantly turn the key off...

One particular thing to pay attention to is when small children are present...all it takes is a small child (or dog) to mash down a pedal when nobody is watching and bad things can happen...
...Many accidents are preventable...
Have a safe holiday season...be careful out there...

My wife uses an electric wheel chair. She used to have a technique whereby she would get a running start, stop abruptly, thereby propelling herself upright where she would grab on to our tall dresser in order to reach something on top. Then she would just fall backwards gently into the chair.

One day, her robe caught on her joystick and the chair slammed her into the dresser. Good for one broken leg. She doesn't do that maneuver anymore.
