Electrical issues starting shutting off

Is there wire diagrams for an Eztrac Z445 48c? I'm having some issues I went to the dealer he pretty much laughed at me and said that I could buy a tech manual for$120, really just want to fix my mower.

The dealer can be nice and bring up the diagrams, then print them off for you.. Might approach them with that for some help.

Otherwise, if me, I wouldn't want to be without the service tech manual for the equipment that I own. Saving just one trip to the dealer will pay for the manual.

Someone here, who did pay for the manual, may help you with a diagram, if you know which of several possible ones you may want.

Some explanation of your problem may help too.

Is that the full description you posted ?

I take it that this is a zero turn ?

here's the serial number. Like I said sometimes it's turn over sometimes it won't, new starter, new battery, new relay, new ignition, sometimes with the handles in neutral i can't pull ebrake up it'll die, then if ebrake is up sometimes it won't start noticed my hour meter on even with mower off so don't know if short somewhere or what?

Sound's like a safety switch or safety switch wire connector problem. No way in telling you which it is,you'll have to test each to determine which is at fault.

possibly a bad ignition switch.. try unplugging that and see if the hour meter is still running.. if it stops, that's you problem.

OK does this mean that the problem you have been experiencing is now solved and the machine is working fine ?

No I'm saying I've replaced all this stuff that I mentioned earlier, and I'm still having this problem I'm thinking it might be in the safety stuff, I wiggle the handles and move the park brake around and it would say right and then it would start also.

Sounds like the switches need adjustment as in their position to engage and disengage, or the switch contacts need cleaning because of corrosion. As a last resort switch replacement, just have to to the bad on(s). A process of elimination that has to happen.

Seems like your onto the problem.
If the hour meter is running when the key switch is "off", it's hard to imagine that a safety switch is the problem.
It would be a good guess that the switch isn't working correctly, wires or terminals at switch are shorting, or switch is miswired.

Usually the hour meters will stay 'on' but are not running until the engine is running. Once running, the hour meter will display a small hour glass. If there is no hour glass showing, it's illuminated to show the hours but not running.

Undoubtedly diagrams are available but this is always a busy time of year. Be patient,someone will eventually find time to track them down for you.

Are there relays in the safety circuit? If yes, they may be sticking or bad contacts inside or in the connector.

Try the cheap stuff first, the safety switches might be most the same, buy one and start eliminating.
If the problem is intermittent, than that's the way to go.
