I'm going to sue Coors Light for allowing me and my misses getting pregnant. It has to be their fault on that long Columbus Day weekend. Guess I should also include both our employer's since they gave us the day off.

Hey congrats!! Lets drink a Coors Light to celebrate!!

Actually she is 10 months old now. It sure was not planned to be a father and mother again at 39 & 40 but I would not trade it for the world.

It somehow seems easier. Either she is a better baby or we are that much more mature and patient.

Or both... Our second is very different from how our first one was. Both have had 8 teeth by 8 months though :D.

Mine just turned 2. Best thing to ever happen to me. A lot of hobbies got put on the backburner so I can spend time with her. Now, for the topic at hand, I know 3 people with the eb engine, 2 of which are over 50k miles, no issues. I was skeptical at first of the eb, but so far have been impressed by the 3 trucks, one of which I towed with a couple times.

Our first is very different from our second (nearly exact opposites). Our oldest is a stickler for the rules, and wants to make sure everyone (herself, her brother, the neighbors) follows the rules. Our second (a seven year old typical boy) hasn't yet figured out what a rule is! :) Our third, well, she is so much like her brother. If she were a boy, I would say she is a typical boy, but since she is a girl, we say she's a typical boy, but with hormones!

The Eco Boost has been around for more than 4 years now and is available in both trucks and cars. So 100 complaints for all the vehicles being sold is not bad. Last year alone Ford sold over 300,000 F150's and over 60% had the Eco Boost. That's just one year.

I really don't see a issue. We have two in our family and both have been perfect.

There are always going to be a few here and there that are lemons.

Chris

2012 F150 sales were 645,316. 2011 sales were about 10% less. The take rate on the EcoBoost is about 43%. So, in two model years they've sold over 1.2 million F150's with approximately 527,000 being EcoBoost engines.

Big lawsuit over the Ecoboost Engine.

And someone thinks it's signficant that they've had 100 complaints....okay. I guess your threshold is far smaller than mine for declaring a problem when it equals 0.00019% of the units sold with an EcoBoost.

Hardly the next 6.0 diesel. I'm guessing just as many people experienced failed COP's in the old 5.4 with the shaking and loss of power. Didn't get any recalls on those.

Swines, that is total f series sales, not just F150. It includes 2 and 350 as well. Your point is still valid, but F150 sales are about half of the numbers you mentioned.

Out of curiosity today, I went to the local Ford dealer and counted the total number of F150s and the number of those that were Ecoboost. 13 out of 59. When the Ecoboost was first introduced it was about 50%.

I bet the reason you only got that count is they are selling. I know about 10 people that have bought a F150 since January 1st. All Eco Boost except for one 5.0

They are tough to find around here and the numbers don't lie. Last year over 60% were Eco.
