There is an Iseki 140 on Ebay. It looks like a TU140, but there isn't any TU on the decal. It is a Landpride. It is being advertised as a 2000 model. I was always under the impression that the TU140 was around a 1988. I mailed him and he says there is a date stamp with 1999 on it. Does anyone know for sure?

That date stamp is probably on a replacement part.
I agree with you on the years of manufacture.

Just sold a TU140F a couple of weeks ago. Had a Mitsubishi engine in it. Uses the same itty bitty oil filter as a MT16. Tain't no 2000 model! More likely late 1980's, as you said...
