Ebay fuel pump

I just ordered 3 replacement inline 12v fuel pump on eBay New Universal 12V Gas Diesel Fuel Pump Inline Low Pressure Electric Fuel Pump | eBay because the oem crapped out on my Yanmar. Has anyone used these eBay ones before? I cant see paying over $100 for an new oem pump.

I have been running a $9 eBay fuel pump in my F150 for the last 17 months and 13K miles with no issues.

I have one just like that on my diesel standby generator. Only has about 25 hours on the pump, but it works fine.

If you find a source for a mating plug, please let us know. I had to cut the plug off and solder the wires.

I've had better luck with the fleabay pumps than I have with the 60 buck pumps from the parts store. Of course, when I need one it's a NIRTS moment(Need It Right This Second) so parts store it is, I really should just buy and extra and throw it on my shelf.

I have had 2 of these go out on me so far. Not exactly sure if from the same mfg in China. I paid about $15 apiece for mine. There is a rubber diaphragm inside that goes bad. I wish someone could figure out the Japanese part number and find it cheaper than thru Deere. IIRC it is possibly a nippondenso?

I would suspect the diaphragm is actual rubber and it is well known that the alcohol laced gas eats the rubber.
Switching to a pure gas might just be the solution.

Common power connector used on HAM radios, look some and may find them cheaper.

Jus put one on my Mahindra last night, it fired right up , been chasing fuel issues for a week with member Spanners help , warning if you use economy shipping expect a 10 day delivery
I also orderd a heavy duty pump from Jegs for back-up , its under Autobest brand name for $23 , it's the same pump as the auto parts houses sell with Mr Gasket brand name for $64

On some of the plugs you can reach in side the plug end with a small screwdriver and depress the tab on the electrical spade and pull it out from other end , then push the new wire thru the plug with spades attached till they click into place
