Easter Bunny at the FD

Every year, the Easter Bunny comes by the Fire Station. Us Volunteer Firefighters get the honor of escorting him to the annual Volunteer Assoc egg hunt on Engine 228. My nephew and I after the egg hunt, with EB himself, and E228.

Nephew with Water Tender 28, and the rush of kids ready to find eggs(only about 1/4 of the kids are in that pic).

Our Volunteer Assoc has been putting this egg hunt on since the 1950's that we know of.

Actaully, the story is kind of cool. The person in the bunny suit, is the son of one of our old volunteers. He grew up going to the same egg hunts as a kid. His Dad has pictures of him as a toddler looking for eggs

My nephew has attended since he was a toddler too.
