You mentioned a dump truck got stuck in your other thread. Did you end up hiring someone to help haul the material?

After seeing what you did to the Terex I think Frank and Wayne might be a little hesitant to let you play with their toys now. Keep having fun up there:D

i just used the dump for 80 yards of topsoil --

-- other than that, i've been making a lot of back and forth'ers --

-- rental equipment certainly is used hard -- no question there -- !!

So the U-boilts snapped and the axle rotated 90 degrees down, snapping the driveshaft? Didn't you say the wheel studs broke, too?

Man, that thing either has increadible traction, weak components, or both. I've seen loaders like that(but not that brand) spin their tires on a multitude of surfaces. I would have thought that would happen before all that stuff broke!

Impressive breakage!!!

I was trying to imagine it from your other post, but failed to grasp just how bad it looks. Square axle housing with miltiple bolts on both sides sure sounds strong enough. I wonder if there was already some damage before you got it that nobody noticed? Who would even check to see if the axle it attached properly?

How much dirt have you been able to move?

i don't know of previous damage -- i am just glad i took the insurance policy - it's amazing how these places don't want to cover their junk!

also, the traction was good, but not THAT good -- the rig had industrial tires, not ags, so they would spin relatively easily --

-- who knows --

-- i have moved quite a bit -- thankfully -- and the bigger machine is just plain better at it --

-- now if the rain would just stop -- :(

If those ubolts were already loose.. it would have let it rock and get some force going..

wow... glad you had insurance!

Aren't you glad that you don't have to pay to have that fixed? Other than that all I can say is "WOW".

Yeah, Ditto here. Especially since it seems you're at the "funnel end" of many user's abuse.:(

It sure sounds like you've been having fun, though.;)
