Dump Action of 210 Loader

If it wasn't said somewhere above, keep those RPMs at the rated speed for the fastest hydraulic speed for all loader functions--even the fast dump function. I know this seems like a no-brainer, but I have to conciously keep my throttle higher when using my loader.

Not sure if the 2210 has a "fast dump" circuit in the SCV. If it does, play around a bit with the handle to find the point at which it changes from most flow to free flow. With my 855 in Fast Dump, with a full bucket, the weight in the bucket makes a huge difference in the dump speed, but with a empty bucket, it will just sit there. Just prior to the Fast Dump spot, the speed is constant regardless of load.

BTW - In my loader manual, there are "normal" cycle times listed for each cycle.

Andy and I are good friends and my comment was only a friendly jab. The 2210 is a great machine as I wanted one myself. With that said, I do admit that the lack of this movement on the bucket would be annoying. Enjoy your Deere's!

My 4100 has a "Fast-Dump" feature as well. Problem is, the time when you want the fastest dump is when the bucket is mostly empty and you are trying to shake some sticky mud out. Then, the "Fast dump" turns into slow dump because the "fast dump" is depending on the weight of the bucket to push the fluid out of the curl side and into the dump side. Without a lot of weight, the friction of the hydraulics and viscosity of the oil makes it go fairly slow.

What is frustrating is that the "fast dump" position is at the end of the travel of the lever and is counter-intuitive to the further you push it the faster it goes.

My 4100 had some flip-in tabs in the SCV linkage that can be used to keep the lever from moving in certain ways. I am not sure, but I think one of them can be used to lock out the "fast-dump" feature. Worth checking of the 2110 has the same feature.
