drywall or sheetrock lift

We bought one from Harbor Freight for use on job sites that looks just like that. Drywall lifts all pretty much look alike though so its hard to tell if their made by the same company or not but we have used it quite a bit and it has worked well. Their very simple and as long as you don't abuse it you shouldn't have any trouble with it.

At that price you can buy it, use it and sell it. That's what I almost always do.

I got one of the Harbor Freight ones like Robert and mine also worked well.

Held up for an entire house, and it is still almost like new. Very good price/performance ratio.

I tried it with and without when i built my house. I did my workshop roof at 9' in a couple of hours with one putting up 5/8 x 10' sheets alone and it was a breeze.

If you have more than 5 or 10 sheets to put up I suggest getting it.

I bought one for my workshop--worked great. One thing, with a full 1/2" sheet lifted up 8 or 10 ft, it can be a little scary moving lift. I never had it tip, but.....

i never bought one, but i rented one from the united rental store for $20/day to hang 2 rooms worth of ceilings. worked great. never need to own one though.

i've used one lots of times, it just that these on ebay seem to good to be true, I mean cheaper than harbor freight?

I have 1000 sq ft in garage and 1000sq ft in basement to hang, getting the garage done is the priority, just don't tell my wife.

I have the HF version, got it on sale a few years back. No complaints from friends, family or myself. Doesn't take up much space in the garage and comes in handy for lots of overhead work besides Sheetrock. Like hanging attic stairs, overhead florescent lights, just about anything you have to hold up while you attach or hang. One of those tools at HF that doesn't suck! Its one of those tools you can loan to a friend and not worry about.

We used one in my buddys remodel. It was great since his house was built by his grandfather from reused mine lumber. Meaning we had to shim a lot after we knocked down all the old plaster. Having the lift really really helped.
