AAhhh, but it works better than a lot of commercial drones and can fly where DJI ones refuse to. That is why I have 3 the same.![]()
What is an example of something a DJI drone 'refuses to do'?

Coming from an Autel, the geofence is simply a click to accept responsibility and it's gone. Just like the Autel, I can violate every Federal law and recommendation known if I were to desire.Geofencing. Why I was going to purchase a DJI but bought an Autel instead. I'm a big boy. Don't need (or want) a nanny.
Not the older ones, but the current DJI units are. They use the FAA geofence maps to prevent you from inadvertently breaking the law.Does that mean drones are pre-programmed with GPS coordinates that they "shouldn't be flying in"? Hadn't heard of that.

That said, it also allows you say FU to the FAA and bypass the location, height and distance limitations.
Than your looking for old used equipment, or custom built units.Thanks. That sounds like too much government.

The flight characteristics and the intelligent flight abilities in the current DJI are way above and beyond the X Star Premiums that I had. I definitely do not miss them at all.
If your emotionally set to love the Autel and have dislike to DJI, no one can make you see the truth. I know, because I was there myself. But since making the jump.... I'll admit it. DJI just makes a better built product, flies way better in many ways, has longer range for both control and light bridge and provides updates to known issues a billion times faster.
I'm aware that saying that will not change your opinion, but to any new purchaser with no bias, I'm telling you that DJI makes a fine machine and should not be discounted from your consideration.

Having looked at pics of your Drones before, I am impressed, again....
As to cosmetics. That doesn't improve the quality, accuracy, dependability or functionality of a Drone. I've saw several "home built" Drones. Never saw one that was pretty. Manufacturers of Drones make them pretty to sell better. I bought my Autel because it was Grabber Orange. Then after flying it a few times I realized that's an improved function as well. Much easier to see in flight.
I really like your Drones and am duly impressed with your talents!!!
Looks like Kubota Orange 2 to me Richard...... Why I've ordered one. That and your recommendation. Got the hard case and the extra batteries and props and stuff. Still need a tablet, have a cell phone (Andriod) but I believe the tablet will be easier for me to see. Any recommendation of that?
I use a 7x9" tablet. Went to Best Buy and purchased a $100 tablet. Can't remember the brand. I couldn't see my phone well enough. I constantly monitor my flight data which is displayed across the top of the screen. It was way too small on my phone.
Looking forward to your posts when you get started flying. We should start a bet pool on the first crash.....![]()

Personally I use a Samsung Tab S4. Still hard to see in direct sunlight but once I have programmed my drone it is only used to monitor the battery and I can hit the RTH or Land mode if any aircraft unexpectedly appear.
My Tablet came with a 'pen' which is great if you have stubby fingers but I manage OK without it.
One good thing, the pen does not need a battery unlike the iPads.
I do have an iPad that I can use as well. The program runs on all formats.
There is a C port and mine came with a small adapter that converts it to USB. There is an extra slot for a mem card as well.
