I made a set of bolt on shoes for a 5' back blade I used to have. Worked well, but I'm sure not as a dedicated land plane...

I have three implements I use for driveway maintenance. Land Pride land plane grading scraper - Bush Hog Roll Over Box Blade - Rhino rear blade.
My driveway is a mile long. The top surface is gravel, large rock in many places, sand, silt & volcanic ash. The sand, silt, volcanic ash and gravel are all mixed throughout the entire length. It dries out and become concrete.
The LPGS was, basically, a waste of a whole lot of money. It just bounces along on the rocky sections. It does weigh 780#. JMHO - the LPGS works well on driveways with a top layer of crushed stone or the like. Unfortunately - that's not my driveway.
Actually, none of the three implements does much good on the rocky sections. The driveway was built in 1982 and has stood up well since that time.
The ROBB with its scarifiers is used to repair any potholes. Scarify the pothole - move new material to fill - smooth - compact with the tractor.
The rear blade ( Rhino 950 @ 1050# & 96" wide ) is my major "go to" implement. Winter snow clearing - ditch cleanout & repair - crowning & "troweling". I have one 120 foot section that is a "Mud Hole from H*ll". Wait until it's almost dry - reverse the rear blade - trowel it smooth.

Only time I've seen an Agri-Tek driveway scraper used was at a county fair in Pennsylvania. Belonged to the fair organization, and they used it during the truck and tractor pulls to smooth out the pulling track. The way it is designed, it worked really well for keeping the track smooth between pulls.

My local Agritek reseller makes a cat 1/2 adapter added to the front. I think it alters the geometry of the implement and someday I'll get a hydraulic top link. In the spring I use it to pull gravel away from the drainage ditches. The best tool is the Hoelscher box blade/roller. The problem is meeting a neighbor on the hill, it can't be lifted off the ground and impossible to back up.
